軽量Linux：MAC風でエレガントな PuppyLinux Yara OSX を日本語化してみました！

　PuppyLinuxの本家フォーラムを見ていると、Yara OSX というPuppyLinuxを見つけました。井手

　デスクトップが綺麗なので、思わずウェブサイトをアクセスしてみました。

　そこには、メーカーが提供しているような美しいウェブサイトが用意されていました。

　機能面でも、下記のように書いています。

Minimum requirements:

Processor 1Ghz, 512MB RAM and CD/USB drive.

Yara OS is a Puppy Linux derivative and, like that, don't need to be installed in harddrive to run perfectly. In fact, is designed to obtain the best performance in removable media. During the first shutdown you are asked whether you want to store the settings (and your personal files) in a file on hard disk, usb or cd drive. But, if you prefer a traditional installation, Yara offer two ways to do it: a Full (standard) or a Frugal installation. Frugal installation combines the advantages of booting from CD-ROM (protection from malware) and a hard drive bootup (speed) and is recommended if you have 256 MB RAM or more.

Like windows usb installation method we recommend Unetbootin. Be sure after install that files syslinux.cfg and isolinux.cfg include "pmedia=usbflash" and not "pmedia=cd" option. Important: maintain persistence=0 in this program.

Who can benefit from Yara OS?

Basically anyone with an old or low income computer, and that includes businesses, academic institutions and public administrations. Yara can run from a USB device, making it a truly portable system able to run on most computers. All this in a friendly and secure environment.

PuppyLinuxを使うのにそれほど高価なコンピュータを購入することはありませんが、僕のように、そればかりを使う人も少ないと思い、MS WINDOWS 10も動作するコンピュータを選んでみました。
